At the heart of the Odyssey is our Patented Dual Axis Accelerometer. During a braking event, Odyssey brake controls sense the vehicle’s rate of deceleration and applies a uniform amount of brake force as quickly as needed for a smooth seamless stop. Unlike older accelerometer-based controllers with automatic calibration, Odyssey brake controls avoid miscalibration during engine braking. With the push of a button, Odyssey brake controls adjust to their mounting position.
The Widest Range of Mounting Positions
Both the Odyssey Brake Controls can be mounted in most any position, making it easily and comfortably accessible from the driver’s position of most any tow vehicle. The unit is designed to be mounted in a variety of positions, with the widest angle range either above or below the dash.

Quick Mount Bracketing
The Odyssey feature Quick-Mount Brackets. Along with Valley’s Modular Connection System brake control installation a snap! Simply mount the bracket in the desired location and slide the unit into place. Brake control wiring has never been easier – Simply snap one end of the Custom Harness (Sold Separately) into the Odyssey harness and attach the other end to the vehicle’s factory tow harness.

Whenever tow vehicle brakes are applied, the Odyssey senses the vehicle’s rate of deceleration and applies the appropriate amount of brake power for a smooth seamless stop. Odyssey provides an Easy-to-Read Digital Display communicates the power being sent to the trailer brakes, as well as a full range of diagnostic functions.
